Test page Greenfingers Gardening Group meet every Thursday at Brookvale Centre.
New members are always welcome.

We have a community garden and allotment that you can enjoy with any level of  gardening skills

FThe Greenfingers Gardening Group is a community garden group, who meet every Thursday 10:30am to 1pm at the Brookvale Community Centre on Northwich Road, Runcorn. It is open to everyone in the Community to attend, even if you have no gardening knowledge we encourage you to come along to learn.

In spring buy Our Produce

Every Thursday morning between 11am to 1pm we will be selling produce grown in our own Community Garden which has been picked fresh that morning. Come down early to avoid disappointment!

Brand New allotment

We have made an allotment at the rear of the Community Centre and plan to grow vegetables and flowers. Although we only meet once a week, you can still come along at any time the Centre is open to work on the allotment and we will be displaying on the notice board jobs which need doing on the plot. There’s a pleasant seating area outside next to the allotment and with the Hello Café on site it makes the perfect place to have a drink, a bite to eat and make new friends.

Gardening Workshops

We will be holding regular workshops such as container planting, wreath making, hanging baskets and planting succulents to name a few. We would also like to develop plans to hold outings to visit some of the amazing Gardens of Distinction in Cheshire such as Arley Hall, Tatton Park and Ness Gardens and Flower Shows such as RHS Tatton Flower Show and The Royal Cheshire County Show.

We are COVID friendly

We are COVID friendly with all precautions in place in the Centre. Masks are compulsory and hand wash is provided.
